IamFX Review

IamFX is a newcomer in the forex broker industry. In just a short period of time, it has been considered the first broker that helps you rather than work against you.

IamFX does not do sneaky stuffs like increasing the costs of spreads when it’s the asian session, spiking and offquoting whenever you want to exit a trade with profit in hand. These sneaky tactics are a common broker trick that are used to increase their company’s earnings.

IamFX is a gamechanger since its business model is to provide fairness to all forex traders. They charge you very low interbank spread and very low commission that costs only 1 pip. How this benefits you is your scalping Expert Advisors will have a higher chance of covering your spread.

IamFX is unlike other brokers because they don’t spend lots of money on advertising campaigns spamming forums and blogs. It seems like they are able to provide low commissions because they rely on word of mouth and provide a really really great service.

If you use forex softwares that needs low spreads to be profitable, IamFX is the broker to choose.

1. Good broker!
I am very pleased with their support. Nevertheless, I had similar problems recently as described by different other users (invalid account / account disabled). I am quite sure that these are purely technical problems related to a growing population of users (server load). This weekend they migrated their servers and availability should as of now be better. Let’s see how it goes.

2. I decided to write a review about IamFX as I really like these guys and the quality of service they are providing to me. It’s hard to believe FPA allows posting nonsense like those “reviews” below but well, people love to read them even if they are evidently not true. I mean Jerry for instance, I don’t know which number you were calling but my calls were always handled promptly (during business days of course). They even have live chat where you can speak to real people and have your requests handled immediately. Someone here already mentioned in their review that they handle support tickets promptly also during the weekends, and yes, I can confirm this as well.
To PieterN – if you believe you will get raw spreads with 0 commissions somewhere, meaning someone will be doing business for nothing and for free, then you’re really naive. And also you most probably don’t realize like most of the newbies here that with lower spreads your EAs or whatever you’re trading will open numerous times more trades than on higher spreads, which eventually lead to much higher profits for you even after deducting commissions (providing you are using a quality EA)
To Dennis and Tam – it’s hard for anyone intelligent to react to your comments so let’s say you’re funny guys and I had good laughter while reading your comments.

Now let’s get serious. I’m real trader with several years of experience and believe me, I can distinguish between what quality is and what is not. If you would ever open larger trades (I’m not talking about 5 lot trades , but rather 50+ lot trades) then you will realize the quality of IamFX liquidity and the execution speed. I already tried lot of different brokers who claimed to be STP/ECN but all were simple bucket shops, because as soon as I opened my first larger trade, I immediately realized the real face of those brokers (delayed execution, huge slippage and most of the time the trades were not even executed at all). This has never happened to me with IamFX. But I guess only real traders will actually understand and appreciate the quality liquidity and execution they provide.

And regarding protection of funds, these guys are using custodian which is NYC registered investment advisor, their bank account is with JP Morgan Chase bank (which is FDIC insured as all US banks) and this is a sufficient protection for me.
